After the education and business training, I studied business administration in Berlin from 1993–1998 with the specializations "corporate taxation" and "financing/investment".
During my studies I completed several internships and worked as a student assistant in various tax consulting companies in Berlin.
After graduation I took a job in the accounting and tax department of a major bank in Frankfurt am Main. I busied myself among others with the taxation of investments, international withholding tax issues, introduction and development of EU-Savings-Directive, clarification of issues for foreign tax act etc. And I acted as an authorized signatory et al all the tax projects at this time actively with such e.g. the introduction of the flat tax on capital gains, introduction of EU-Savings-Directive (in Germany: Zinsinformationsverordnung), further development of the applications of the principles of data access and auditing of digital documents. I also took the bank in various working groups of the Association of German Banks.
In 2008 I graduated from the tax consultant exam. Beginning of 2009, I was appointed as a tax consultant and was therefore legal officer-tax consultant in the bank. Due to work on international tax issues, I have the test for expert advisor for international tax law passed successfully and was appointed in October 2013 the Chamber of Tax Consultants Hesse.
In April 2014, I moved the seat of my office to Potsdam and since then dedicates the tax office Doehler fully tax advice.
